Iconic Mountain Peaks
This collection features the most prominent summits of the Krivánska Malá Fatra range in northern Slovakia. Ranging from the iconic limestone massif of Veľký Rozsutec to the highest point at Veľký Kriváň (1,709 m), these peaks define the rugged skyline above the Vrátna Valley. The trails connect grassy ridges with technical rocky sections, passing through the Malá Fatra National Park and offering panoramic views of the Western Carpathians and neighboring Beskid ranges.
A Veľký Rozsutec
Velky Rozsutec, 'Big Rozsutec', is the highest peak (1610 m.a.s.l.) of Mala Fatra mountain range.
B Veľký Kriváň
Veľký Kriváň is the highest mountain in the Lesser Fatra mountain range in Western Carpathians in Slovakia.
C Chleb
The third highest peak of the range at 1,646 m, located on the main ridge. It is easily accessible via the cable car from the Vrátna Valley.
D Malý Rozsutec
Distinctive limestone peak reaching 1,343 m. It features steep rocky cliffs and a technical summit ascent secured with steel chains.
E Stoh
Massive, treeless peak (1,607 m) known for its steep, grassy slopes and prominent position on the main ridge between Poludňový grúň and Medziholie.
F Suchý
A 1,468-meter peak marking the southwestern end of the main Krivánska ridge, offering views of the Strečno Castle and the Váh river gap.
G Stratenec
Stratenec is a 1,509.3-metre high mountain of the Lesser Fatra range in Slovakia.
H Hromové
A 1,636-meter mountain on the main ridge situated between Chleb and Steny, providing views across the Turiec Basin.
I Kraviarske
Highest point (1,361 m) of a side ridge extending north from the main crest, characterized by a mix of forest and mountain meadows.
J Koniarky
A 1,535-meter summit in the main ridge located between the Pekelník and Malý Kriváň peaks.
K Hole
Mountain on a side ridge extending northwest from Koniarky, reaching an elevation of 1,466 meters.
L Mojský grúň
A 1,525-meter peak situated on the southeastern spur of Malý Kriváň, separated from the main massif by a shallow saddle.
M Meškalka
A 1,535-meter peak on the southwestern spur of Malý Kriváň, defined by the Meškalka saddle.
Osnica
Pyramidal mountain (1,363 m) located on a side ridge southeast of Veľký Rozsutec, offering views of the Rozsutec massifs.
