Ishigakijima Astronomical Observatory

Features the 105cm Murikabushi reflecting telescope, the largest in the Kyushu-Okinawa region. The facility includes a 4D2U theater and offers public stargazing sessions on weekends and holidays.

An open-air museum featuring century-old Ryukyuan residences relocated from across Ishigaki. The site includes a squirrel monkey park, a mangrove forest walk, and daily performances of traditional Yaeyama folk music.
