Best Pálava Viewpoints

This selection covers the diverse topography of the Pálava Hills, a UNESCO biosphere reserve. It includes the highest point, Děvín, offering views of the Nové Mlýny reservoirs, and the iconic Svatý kopeček with its Baroque Way of the Cross and St. Sebastian church. Zatopený vápencový lom

Former limestone quarry at Janičův vrch, now a flooded natural monument. The groundwater-filled basin is surrounded by steep rock walls and serves as a habitat for protected aquatic species.

Kozí hrádek

Remains of late gothic defence fortress built to improve the defence of city of Mikulov and it's castle.

Svaty Kopecek

Limestone rock nature preserve with st. Šebestián church on top of it creates an unforgetable scenery.

Vyhlídka Nad Soutěskou

Natural rock outcrop overlooking the Soutěska gorge. This vantage point provides views of the limestone massifs of the Pavlov Hills, the ruins of Sirotčí hrádek, and the surrounding South Moravian vineyards.

Děvín
