Historical Sites in Qatar
Qatar’s historical landscape spans from Neolithic rock art to 20th-century defensive structures. This collection features the UNESCO-listed Al Zubarah, an 18th-century pearl trading port, and the Al Jassasiya Petroglyphs, home to nearly 900 ancient carvings. Visitors can explore the 1938 Al Zubara Fort, the restored royal palace of Sheikh Abdulla bin Jassim Al-Thani, and the 18th-century Zekreet Fort on the west coast. B Al Zubara Fort
