Historic Churches & Temples

Trondheim’s religious landscape is anchored by the Nidaros Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece and national shrine built over the burial site of Saint Olav. Haltdalen stavkirke

A 12th-century stave church relocated to the Sverresborg Folk Museum. It is the only remaining example of the eastern-style stave church, characterized by its simple, single-nave construction.

Lade kirke
