Trondheim’s religious landscape is anchored by the Nidaros Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece and national shrine built over the burial site of Saint Olav. Nidaros Cathedral

Nidaros Cathedral is a cathedral of the Church of Norway located in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county.

Haltdalen stavkirke

A 12th-century stave church relocated to the Sverresborg Folk Museum. It is the only remaining example of the eastern-style stave church, characterized by its simple, single-nave construction.

Lade kirke

One of Norway's oldest stone churches, dating back to approximately 1190. This Romanesque structure stands on a site formerly used for pagan worship by the Earls of Lade.

Trondheim døvekirke
