Natural Wonders

The Beskydy Protected Landscape Area, the largest in the Czech Republic, covers 1,160 square kilometers. This selection highlights its geological landmarks, from the sandstone formations of Pulčínské skály to the cascading Bučací and Satina waterfalls. The region preserves rare primeval forest fragments in the Mionší and Salajka reserves, alongside significant pseudo-karst cave systems and reservoirs like Karolinka, which serves as a primary drinking water source for the Vsetín region.
