Chubut Province Essentials

Chubut Province spans from the Atlantic coast to the Andes mountains. It features Península Valdés, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for Southern Right Whale breeding grounds and elephant seal colonies. To the west, Los Alerces National Park protects ancient Alerce trees and glacial lakes. The region also preserves Welsh heritage in the Chubut River valley and hosts the Egidio Feruglio Paleontological Museum, which displays some of the world's largest dinosaur fossils.

Península Valdes
