Alicante's coastline features the Explanada de España, a promenade paved with 6.5 million marble tiles arranged in a wave pattern. Nearby, El Postiguet Beach sits at the base of Santa Bárbara Castle, while the expansive San Juan Beach offers several kilometers of Blue Flag sands. Further south, Playa del Saladar provides a quieter environment with preserved dune systems.
