Huaral Essentials

Huaral is a diverse province spanning from the Pacific coast to the Andean highlands. The coastal area features the early 20th-century Castillo de Chancay and the Eco Truly Park, an eco-village known for its unique conical mud architecture. In the Huaral valley, the Cerro Trinidad archaeological site reveals remnants of the pre-Inca Chancay culture. The region is also a culinary hub, famous for traditional spit-roasted pork, while higher elevations host high-altitude lagoons like Yanawayin and Willkaqucha.
