Jeju Island Caves

Jeju Island's volcanic landscape features an extensive network of lava tubes and coastal caves. The UNESCO-listed Manjanggul system showcases geological formations like lava columns and flowlines. Other sites include Guringul, historically used for cold storage, and the man-made tunnels at Songaksan, which served as military coastal defenses during the Japanese occupation in the 1940s.
