Wilderness & Mountain Huts
This collection features essential mountain huts and wilderness shelters situated along the Kungsleden and throughout the Arctic alpine regions of Northern Sweden and Norway. These facilities, managed primarily by the Swedish Tourist Association (STF) and the Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT), provide critical refuge and basic lodging. Strategically positioned near landmarks like the Tjäktja Pass and the Kebnekaise massif, many include specific amenities such as wood-fired saunas, small convenience stores, and emergency communication equipment.
Abiskojaure Fjällstuga
The first stop on the Kungsleden south of Abisko, featuring a wood-fired sauna, a small shop, and lakeside access to Lake Abiskojaure.
Singi Fjällstuga
