Komani Lake Essentials

Often called the 'Fjords of Albania,' Komani Lake is a reservoir on the Drin River created by the construction of the Koman and Fierza hydroelectric dams. The narrow waterway winds through limestone gorges with vertical cliffs reaching heights of 1,500 meters. The route between Koman and Fierza is primarily navigated by ferry, offering access to remote wilderness, hidden caves like Shpella Madhe, and dramatic viewpoints overlooking the rugged landscape of the northern Albanian Alps.
