Museums & Galleries

Singapore’s cultural landscape features diverse institutions ranging from the Tang-style Buddha Tooth Relic Temple to the modern, lotus-inspired ArtScience Museum. This collection highlights the nation's history through the National Museum's multimedia exhibits and the Battlebox's underground WWII bunker. Visitors can explore specific ethnic narratives at the Chinatown, Malay, and Indian Heritage Centres, or view extensive Southeast Asian art collections within the former City Hall and Supreme Court buildings at the National Gallery. Specialist sites include the Mint Museum of Toys and the historic Central Fire Station.
