Karpathos features a diverse coastline ranging from the sheltered turquoise bays of the east coast to the wind-swept lagoons of the south. In the south near Afiartis, beaches like Diakofti provide shallow waters and fine white sand, while northern gems like Agios Minas offer seclusion with gravel shores and traditional chapels accessible via dirt tracks or boat.

Apella
