Évora District Essentials

This collection spans thousands of years of Alentejo history, from the Neolithic Almendres Cromlech and Great Dolmen of Zambujeiro to the Roman Temple of Évora. The selection features the Gothic Évora Cathedral and the lugubrious Chapel of Bones, alongside Renaissance landmarks like the 16th-century Silver Water Aqueduct. Beyond the city limits, it includes the medieval fortifications of Monsaraz, Arraiolos, and Evoramonte, as well as the marble-clad ducal palace of Vila Viçosa.
