Sněžka Cable Car Station

This summit station serves as the upper terminus for a two-section aerial lift system. It provides access to the highest point of the Giant Mountains, where the cable car's operation remains highly dependent on current weather conditions.

The surrounding summit area includes historical landmarks such as the Chapel of Saint Lawrence and a local post office. At an altitude of 1,603 meters, the peak provides panoramic views across the surrounding mountain landscape.

The station is accessible and allows for the transport of pets and skis, supporting year-round mountain activities. As a significant geographical landmark in Central Europe, the peak is open to the public, though high winds or poor visibility frequently affect the lift's operation.
