Tatra Truck Museum

The museum is situated in a renovated former foundry building of the Tatra factory. The exhibition space is divided into 14 thematic sections that map the history and technical evolution of the Tatra concept. The collection includes nearly 80 vehicles ranging from utility and heavy-duty trucks to historical chassis, military vehicles, and special-purpose automobiles.

Beyond the vehicle collection, the facility displays over 20 engines and various technical exhibits highlighting production innovations. Notable items include legendary expedition cars and a comprehensive collection of passenger cars and chassis. The displays focus specifically on the development of truck production and the technical innovations of the tatrovacka concept.

Located immediately adjacent to the museum is the Slovenská strela, an iconic motor coach and national cultural monument from 1936. This unique motor railcar is a significant part of the technical history represented at the site. The museum is open to the public and provides a detailed overview of industrial and transport history.
