Blansko Chateau

This Renaissance chateau and fortified house, established around 1600, incorporates a blend of Baroque and historicist architectural styles. It serves as the home of the Muzeum Blanenska, a cultural institution dedicated to the preservation of regional heritage. The interior spaces include preserved historical rooms and specialized galleries focused on the history of the Moravian Karst and significant archaeological discoveries.

A major portion of the collection highlights the tradition of artistic cast iron production, showcasing the region's industrial legacy. Facilities include permanent historical exhibitions and a specialized archaeological playroom designed for children. The grounds and interiors are utilized for various cultural events, educational programs, and concerts throughout the year. The site is open to the public as a museum.
