These 88-storey twin skyscrapers, designed by architects César Pelli and Adamson Associates, were inaugurated in 1998 and officially opened on August 31, 1999. Standing at a height of 451.9 meters, the structures held the record for the world's tallest buildings from 1998 until 2004. The design follows postmodern architecture principles.
A notable feature is the double-decker Skybridge located on the 41st and 42nd floors, which connects the two towers. An observation deck is situated on Level 86, providing panoramic views. Access to these areas is managed through guided tours, which operate on a time-ticketing system.
In addition to office spaces, the towers house the Suria KLCC shopping mall, a science museum, and a concert hall. The site includes various entertainment facilities and sits adjacent to the KLCC Park.
