Msheireb Museums

The complex consists of four restored historic heritage houses—Bin Jelmood House, Company House, Mohammed Bin Jassim House, and Radwani House—that showcase social, economic, and cultural history. Opened on October 20, 2015, these museums are an integral part of the regeneration of the old commercial center, preserving a traditional community-based lifestyle. The houses are open to the public.

Exhibitions explore diverse themes including the history of slavery, the development of the oil industry, and traditional family life. Each house provides insight into history through the specific trades and careers of its former residents.

The institution serves as a cultural hub for art, science, and cultural dialogue, hosting various educational programs and community events, such as the Summer Programme 2026. The site highlights urban development and the evolution of local lifestyle over time.
