This former Renaissance chateau, later reconstructed in the Gothic Revival style, served as the summer residence for the princely Auersperg family. The building is a designated national cultural monument and contains restored historical interiors, including a library, a grand dining room, and various private salons. These apartments provide insight into the historical lifestyle of the nobility.
The chateau houses a hippological museum dedicated to the history of horse breeding. This unique collection documents the relationship between humans and horses through various exhibits. Additionally, a nearby stud farm houses Przewalski's horses, continuing the site's equestrian heritage.
The grounds include a nine-hectare garden featuring exotic trees, a romantic pond, and a unique collection of log cabins known as the children's farm. This extensive park is designed in the English style and is open to the public.
