The memento of the division of West and East is interesting not only for fans of history. The site includes the last remaining part of the actual Berlin Wall, Documentation Center, where you can learn something about the Wall's history, and the Chapel of Reconciliation.
The boards around this place contain information on how the wall worked and also about the Death Strip - an area containing various traps and torturous devices that were supposed to prevent people from crossing the wall.
The nearest metro/tram/bus station is Bernauer Straße, lines U8 and M10.
