This eye-catching Hindu temple is dedicated to the beloved god Vishnu (Narayan) and his consort Lakshmi.
One of the most famous temples in Delhi, the mandir was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi himself in 1939. It is also one of the largest temples in the city, spanning over more than 7 acres of land.
The locals often call the temple the Birla Mandir after Baldeo Das Birla, who provided the funds for its construction.
