One of the most iconic sights in Central Park as well as a great place to snap some great photographs, the Bow Bridge is one of the most romantic places in New York. You may have seen it in the movies Manhattan or The Way We Were.
The bridge has been serving as a muse for photographers ever since its construction in 1862, which makes it the second oldest cast-iron bridge in America. With a length of 60 feet, it is also the largest, as well as the oldest bridge in Central Park.
When visiting, notice the 8 urns that adorn the bridge. They were only returned to it during the 2008 reconstruction.
