The circle, named after the man who discovered America, is a busy traffic point in the middle of Manhattan, full of stores, tourists, and landmarks.
In the middle of the circle, there is a statue of Christopher Columbus overlooking the whole area. There are plenty of fountains and benches for people to come and relax on during hot days.
This area is said to be New York's finest shopping district with various stores - from Bose, Coach, Boss, Equinox, Diesel, Cole Haan, to Sephora and H&M.
If you decide to visit this place during winter, you might experience the Christmas market with street vendors selling food, souvenirs and beverages to everyone who passes by.
You can get here by buses M5, M7, M10, M20 and M104.
