If you are interested in art and history, visit this modern museum which houses a huge private collection of Calouste Gulbenkian. This museum opened in 1969 and it now displays artworks from various periods, from ancient to modern times. Apart from a painting collection, the exhibition includes also decorative arts, sculptures and jewellery.

Closed on Tuesdays, Jan 1, Easter Sunday, May 1 and Dec 25.
