Do not be fooled by the inconspicuous looks of this small Catholic church. Inside, it hides some of the most beautiful frescoes in Rome, as well as magnificent paintings made by the Baroque master painter Caravaggio. These three paintings tell the story of Saint Matthew and his life and can be found hidden in the Contarelli Chapel.
