The Congress of Deputies of Spain, the constitutional body of the state, is housed in this Neoclassical style estate, considered to be one of the finest examples of this kind of architecture in Madrid.
Built in 1843, the palace's exterior offers an impressive relief on the main facade. You can marvel at the allegoric figures by Ponciano Ponzano that are depicted here. Take a look and try to guess which of the figures portray Justice and Peace, Fine Arts, or Agriculture.
Located in close proximity to Puerta del Sol, it is also only a short walk from Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. To access the palace, the easiest way is via metro. The nearest station is Sevilla.
