What once served as an exhibition space for biological artefacts from the Philippines is now used as an art gallery. Designed by R. Velázquez Bosco, this palace was built in 1887. Even though the construction was created in such a way so it could be moved after the exhibition, it remained on the original spot, overlooking an artificial lake in El Retiro Park.
You can hire a boat and go on a scenic ride on the lake, enjoying magnificent views of the Crystal Palace. Located roughly in the centre of the park, the nearest metro stations are Retiro, Ibiza, and Atocha.
Free admission.
