This authentic and interactive museum is devoted to the daily life in former East Germany (DDR). It is divided into three main areas - Public Life, State and Ideology, and Life in a Tower Block. You can see a typical DDR living room, try on usual DDR clothes, use an original typewriter or sit in a Trabant. Although the museum might appear small, there are plenty of doors, hatches, and drawers for you to open and explore.
