This museum showcases an amazing demonstration of sophisticated Chinese culture, tradition and art. One of the galleries includes a section designed for children where they can learn about nature and archaeology.
The museum consists of five permanent exhibition galleries, six thematic galleries dedicated to temporary exhibitions, and a theatre.
The permanent exhibitions include: Chao Shao-an Gallery (showcasing 40 works of Chao Shao-an), Jin Yong Gallery (dedicated to martial arts created by Jin Yong), Children's Discovery Gallery (designed for children aged 4 to 10), Cantonese Opera Heritage Hall, and T.T. Tsui Gallery of Chinese Art.
