Hougang MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the North East line in the Hougang planning area in Singapore. Located within the Hougang Town Centre, the station is directly connected to Hougang Central Bus Interchange and sits underneath that bus interchange.
Opened on 20 June 2003 as part of the NEL, this station will become an interchange station along the Cross Island line when stage 1 opens in 2029.
