Hričovský hrad

Castle Hričov is a gothic castle built in 13th century which slowly deteriorated in the 17th century. Located 507 m.a.s.l. it makes for a good moderately challenging hike from Hričovské Podhradie. A red marked trail leads through forests, a meadow and a canal.
Beware, the terrain is slightly rocky and as many old ruins in Slovakia, Hričov Castle too is falling apart and rocks might fall off of the walls.
