This is one of New Delhi's oldest open-air markets, opened as early as the 1930s. It enjoys great popularity with the tourists as well as the locals, as you can find real gems here, like clothing made out of true Kashmiri wool, or beautifully spun carpets.
In contrast to other markets, Janpath is long and narrow, stretching along more than a kilometre in length. The stalls can be found next to a road.
