Designed by Indian architect I. M. Kadri originally for the Indian Muslim troops of the British army stationed nearby, it is now one of the major mosques in the city. In addition to that, it is the largest mosque in HK. Nowadays it serves not only to minorities but to the Chinese Muslims as well.
