Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin

This temple is a place of worship for three religions - Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. It is named after Wong Tai Sin - a famous monk who supposedly had the power of healing.

The temple workers claim that the temple makes every wish come true. While that is not supported by facts, we're sure that this place sees to an immense number of tourists and locals, especially during the Chinese New Year.

It is built according to Feng Shui principles, and if you are interested in this ideology, you might notice that the structures in this area represent the five geomantic elements (metal, wood, water, fire, earth).

The entrance is free and you are allowed to take pictures, but please refrain from interrupting locals who come here to pray and calm their souls.

You can get here from MTR Wong Tai Sin Station, exit B2. The temple is about 3 minutes of walking away from there. Beware - it is very crowded during the Chinese New Year, so if you do not wish to be among thousands of other people, you should visit this place during other periods of time.
