Overlooking the city's bay, this fine arts museum is housed in a marvelous building. It features a rich collection of mostly European art, including paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts. A part of the museum is also dedicated to graphic arts.
Thanks to its unique architecture, the palace featured in various film and series, such as Tales of the City and Hitchcock's Vertigo.
