Molecule Man

Local nameMolecule Man
LocationFriedrichshain-Kreuzberg, Berlin, Deutschland

Installed in 1999, this imposing aluminium sculpture was designed by Jonathan Borofsky. The 30-meter-high artwork shows three men leaning towards each other, their bodies full of holes representing molecules that every human being is made of. It also represents the intersection of three city districts.

You can find the same sculpture in other cities, for example in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
