Named after Sultan al-Muayyad, this mosque is yet another Cairo's example of the Mamluk architecture that was completed in 1421. Interestingly, this mosque is said to be the most expensive one in the city. The building's interior is definitely worth the visit as it features a splendid courtyard and exquisite doors with delicate carvings.
