National Pantheon Lisbon

Formerly known as the Church of Santa Engrácia, this large 17th century church was converted into a national pantheon in 1916. It is now place where many famous Portuguese politicians, artists and writers are buried. The church is worth visiting mainly for its richly decorated interior with a marvellous 18th century baroque organ.
