Part of the Smithsonian Institution, this portrait gallery contains exhibitions focused on famous Americans. Its key exhibit is surely the Hall of Presidents.
The building is also interesting in its style - be sure to note the entrance porch designed to resemble Athenian Parthenon and the wavy glass roof of the inner courtyard.
