Visit the monument dedicated to Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson, who lost his life at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. The monument features a viewing platform with great views of the city and a large time ball, which drops daily at one o'clock when a gun is fired from Edinburgh castle.
