Olympia Park

This park is a living reminder of the 1972 Olympic Games held in Munich. Today, it is a grand complex which houses sports facilities that let you enjoy exercising knowing that famous sportsmen competed for medals right where you are standing, but it is also home to entertainment venues (e.g. concert venues etc.).

You can come here and (depending on the season) take part in various events (e.g. enjoy a film in the summer open air cinema, watch some fireworks, or even experience a Cirque du Soleil performance).

Obviously, there are also sports events organized there (e.g. ice hockey matches, rugby matches or various runs and marathons). For more details on the events, please consult the official website calendar.

Also, when in the park, do not forget to visit the Olympic Tower which is almost 300m tall. From its observation deck, you can see the whole city of Munich.
