Otto Wagner Hofpavillon Hietzing

Local nameOtto Wagner Hofpavillon Hietzing
LocationVienna, Austria

Located next to the railway station in the stunning Art Nouveau pavilion, this octagonal room served as a waiting room for Franz Joseph when he travelled from Schönbrunn Palace to the city centre.

It has, since then, became a museum open to the public, where you can see the detailed decorations carefully embedded into every surface, including doorknobs and mirrors.
