Located right next to Wenceslas Square, there is a church founded in 1347 by the emperor Charles IV. The church is adorned with one of the highest vaults in Prague, reaching 34 metres. It was planned to be the second biggest church in the city, but original plans were altered and the construction was never finished. The interior includes a beautiful Baroque altar.
