At first look similar to Eiffel Tower, this tower is nicknamed "langer Lulatsch", meaning lanky lad. While no longer used for broadcasting, it has become a popular point of interest offering a majestic view of the city. Especially splendid during the night when it gets illuminated. It also houses a restaurant.
The tower is easily reachable by S-Bahn (nearest station: S Messe Nord/ICC).
Observation Deck
Mon: 10 am – 8 pm
Tue - Sun: 10 am – 11 pm
During the summer months from July to September, the observation deck and restaurant might be closed for several weeks due to maintenance work. Also, the platform might be closed due to weather conditions. It is recommended to make a call prior your visit to check whether it's open.
