Rathauspark

This park, located right in front of the Vienna city hall, is famous for many cultural events that take place here throughout the year.

If visiting Vienna during the advent season, you should not miss one of the world's most picturesque Christmas markets with stalls selling everything from Christmas decorations to mulled wine and traditional German wursts. The whole park is beautifully decorated and the trees are illuminated in various colors.

From late January until the end of March, the park is transformed into a giant ice-skating rink, called Eistraum. Rent skates and enjoy this unique and romantic experience.
