Sagrada Família

Under construction since 1882, this monumental Catholic basilica is the masterpiece of architect Antoni Gaudí. The design serves as a primary example of Catalan modernism, blending Gothic Revival and Art Nouveau styles with organic forms inspired by nature. It is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and functions as a minor basilica and expiatory temple.

The structure is defined by its complex religious symbology and unique naturalistic-modernist architecture. Standing at a height of 172.5 meters, it is the tallest church in the world. The exterior features iconic facades and intricate spires, while the interior is designed to accommodate a maximum capacity of 9,000 people.

Construction is ongoing, with completion of the project expected in 2026. The site is wheelchair accessible and remains one of the most significant cultural and religious landmarks in Spain.
