San Jeronimo Convent

Local nameIglesia de San Jerónimo
LocationGranada, Spain

This impressive, awe-inspiring convent is a precious example medieval Spanish architecture. The monastery has two cloisters with peaceful gardens where orange trees grow.

The most beautiful of all is the altarpiece decorated with hundreds of sculptures of saints and other biblical characters. The convent is a little bit further from the center, but it is absolutely worth visiting.
